A Perfect Season

What we liked most was the costume, the singing and music, the interaction with the audience, the informal approach, the use of stage voice… Great especially for baseball enthusiasts.

What we liked the most was the fun, interactive style of presentation – very adaptable to audiences of mixed ages and to audience members with little knowledge of baseball… Great costume and props.

Bob Kreidler brings Charlie Gould, first-baseman and only native Cincinnatian on the team, to life. Gould, the power hitting and slick fielding infielder earned $800 for patrolling first base for the Red Stockings.

You will experience the delight of the undefeated season and the pathos of defeat after 81 games without a loss.

The audience becomes a dramatic part of the performance as you experience the game of baseball and the world in which it was played in the days before baseball gloves, overhand pitching, electricity and indoor plumbing.
